Wales athlete Ramsey has boosted the reward for leads about his vanished canine Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that Halo was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato area.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey shared a exact coordinates of her last known location.
"Any updates about our beloved Halo kindly get in touch with us. Big bounty for reuniting with her. We are all praying she is safe and will return to our side quickly," the athlete wrote on social media.
The footballer initially revealed that Halo had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently uploaded several images of the cherished canine on Instagram.
A $10,000 reward was originally provided, but with no news on the dog's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his family doubled the sum.
"All we desire is our pet home," he said in a further plea on his online platforms after the elderly pet disappeared.
A recent picture share is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle sleeping, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to hold you once more sweet Halo."
The footballer has additionally circulated a note from his wife Colleen on social media saying they have a few "pressing queries" surrounding the event and fear the family "may never get answers".
"To this day we are still searching for Halo. It is unlikely we will ever," the spouse's post expressed.
The Wales skipper became part of Mexican premier team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the initial high profile British Isles athlete to participate in the Liga MX.
